A full range of game fish can be caught on this coast, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Stripped Marlin, Broad Bill Swordfish, Mako, Tiger Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Bull Sharks, Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, King fish, Giant Trivally and many others.

We are based in Watamu, Kenya and fishing starts half a mile out with a vast area of banks canyons, underwater mountains and areas generating fine tidal rips to explore. Or choose to go on a Fishing Safari to the North Kenya Banks or all the way up to Lamu and further still Kiwayu Island.

Tega is a 33ft Aquabell sport fishing boat fully equipped with new Fox purpose made rods, raymarine plotter/fish finder, safety equipment and for the 2006/7 season brand new Sabre Perkins 265hp diesel engines.Mark is the skipper and is fully qualified for offshore fishing; he has fished the waters from Kilifi to Lamu for the past 12 years and has an uncanny skill of finding the fish. It is a very happy fun boat and great care is taken to give the clients what they ask for, if you want to bottom fish then that’s what we do, live bait then live baiting it is, like wise for trolling and if you wish to dolphin or whale watch so be it. The whole experience of fishing the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean is one I never tire of, returning to Watamu around 16.30 to an ice cold beer what could be better!

Our days start at 06.30 am all drinks, food, bait and equipment is provided so all you need is shorts, tee shirt, hat and sunglasses.

Tega is moored inside the reef at Watmau beach, and accommodation is right on this beach. We can carry 3 or 4 anglers when fishing within daily reach of Watamu, however for fishing safaris 2 anglers is ideal.
