2009 has been an amazing season at Lac Sebastian, and it
is fast becoming known as one of the best places in France
if you want to catch a Common well over 40lbs - there are
literally loads of them!! Here is a picture of a stunning
52lb 8oz common, known as the 'Swirly Common', what a
stunner! There have also been lots of forty plus Mirrors
caught to 54lb 12oz(the current lake record Mirror),
including 10-12 fish of 47 lb plus. There are well over
350 fish in Lac Sebastian with approximately
100 x 30's, 40 x 40's and 9 fish known to be over 50lb!

Lac Sebastian has had its 6th different 50lb Carp landed
this season on Friday 6th November 2009(comprising of
3 mirrors and 3 commons) the fish was a big frammed
mirror know as Foggy and was 50lb 6oz.
This means there are now at least 9 different known 50's
in the lake aswell as a few other fish that are hovering
around the 50lb mark and not forgeting all the other fish
in the 47lb-49lb bracket!!
